Tour Plan

Day 1: Volcanoes National Park – Gorilla Trekking
You will be picked up early from your lodge or Kigali city by a Trip to Gorilla Safaris guide and driven to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival at the park headquarters, attend a briefing with the park rangers, who will explain gorilla tracking rules and safety guidelines. The trek begins through the dense, misty forest, guided by expert trackers, and can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours depending on the gorilla family’s location. Once the gorillas are found, spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat, watching them feed, play, and interact. After the trek, enjoy lunch at a local lodge and drive back to Kigali or your chosen accommodation, concluding this incredible one-day primate adventure.
